Below, you’ll find everything you need to know to prepare for your appointment and ensure a smooth, relaxing experience. Our Space Autonomy is an energetically grounding space designed to help you leave feeling lighter and more at peace. We maintain the energetic hygiene of our salon meticulously. We ask that you set aside any judgments or assumptions during your time with us to help preserve a respectful and harmonious environment. Finding Us We know finding the salon can be a bit tricky depending on your GPS. For the most accurate directions, search for “Autonomy Salon and Wellness” instead of using our address. If you’re unsure, here’s how to locate us: • Look for the numbers “5714” above our door. • We don’t have a sign above the storefront yet, but we’re here to help if you need guidance—just call us at 804-627-3662. Mask Policy Masks are optional for both guests and stylists. If you’d prefer to wear a mask but don’t have one, we have masks available by the door along with hand sanitizer. You’re also welcome to request that your stylist wear a mask during your appointment—we’re happy to accommodate. Payment Concerns If financial challenges might lead to a last-minute cancellation, please do not book online. Instead, email us at autonomysalonandwellnessrva@gmail.com so we can explore more accessible options for you. Preparing for Your Appointment • Hair Prep: Please arrive with clean, dry hair when possible. For color services, avoid scrubbing your scalp before a bleach treatment. If you’re curly, two-day hair is perfectly fine—don’t overthink it! • Timing: We value your time and ours. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in rescheduling at your stylist’s discretion. In this case, a 100% rescheduling fee will apply, which can be used toward a new appointment within 30 days, subject to your stylist’s availability. Cancellations & No-Shows We require a credit card on file to book appointments online, ensuring a smooth experience and protecting the livelihoods of our stylists. Here’s our cancellation policy: • 48+ hours’ notice: No charge. • Less than 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the service cost will be charged. • No-shows: 100% of the service cost will be charged, and online booking privileges may be revoked. Future appointments must be booked directly through the salon. Payment & Refunds • Most services are based on an hourly rate set by your chosen stylist, ensuring your time is undivided. • All payments for services and deposits are non-refundable. If adjustments are needed, let us know within 7 days of your appointment so we can make it right. • Products: We’re happy to exchange products within 30 days for one of equal or lesser value. If we can’t find the right fit after a couple of tries, we’ll apply the product’s value toward your next service. Accepted payment methods: • Major credit/debit cards, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, or CashApp (if needed). Gifts & Gratitude Your satisfaction is our greatest reward! If you’d like to show extra appreciation for your stylist, tips are welcome but never expected. We’re happy to add gratuity to your service total if needed. Splurged on this visit?
